Ankur Mittal: Instructor

Ankur joined TTS in 2009 to expand TTS's operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Ankur started his investment banking career at Citigroup's Strategy and M&A group in New York where he was focused on identifying growth opportunities (both organic and inorganic) in the North America and EMEA region to expand Citigroup's presence in these regions. He then worked for the Citigroup Pension Investments Group as part of the team responsible for building Emerging Markets Long Only Equity portfolio for Citigroup's U.S. Defined Benefit Plan and re-designing of the investment menu for the $12 Billion 401K plan for Citigroup's U.S. based employees. Ankur's passion for M&A and dynamism of the EMEA region made him move to Credit Suisse's M&A group in London where he worked as a generalist, covering in particular the FIG, spirits, media, telecom, airlines and white goods. Within FIG he focused on the banking sector in the emerging markets and alternative investments space. After spending time and gaining experience in New York and London, Ankur moved back to India to be closer to family and also to capitalize on growth opportunities in the Asia region.
Ankur is a MBA from Georgetown University where he was inducted in the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He graduated top of his class with B.Com(H) from Delhi University. Ankur is a certified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India. As a Chartered Accountant, Ankur has extensive taxation, auditing and business advisory experience across number of manufacturing and services companies including public sector undertakings and banks.
