Al Riddick: Relationship and Business Development

Al joined the Charlotte office of TTS in 2008 to focus on relationship management and business development. Previously, Al served as Vice President of Business Development with a start-up business intelligence consulting group, a role that allowed him to work with clients in a wide variety of businesses. He also worked for HSBC in their wholesale mortgage division from 2004-2007. Prior to that, Al was with the Hendrick Automotive Group, a large privately held automotive company.


Laverne Bailey: Training Coordinator

Professional Experience: Vanguard Group – Training Delivery Coordinator
Education: Francis Marion University – B.S., Psychology

Laverne joined TTS Charlotte in 2007. As TTS’s Training Coordinator, she plays an important role in supporting the instructors, the Public Course series, and other company initiatives. She is particularly strong in establishing a rapport with new team members, communicating expectations, and liaising between departments to coordinate team activities. Prior to joining the TTS team, Laverne spent eight years working with the Vanguard Group, a mutual fund company located in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Training Delivery Coordinator for six of those years, she oversaw the implementation of departmental training for new hires as well as associates.

Sandra Hart: Training Coordinator

Professional Experience: Unum – IA Coordinator; Centegra Health System – Supervisor
Education: University of Wisconsin-Whitewater – B.S. Psychology

Hart-Sandra-0007Sandra joined the TTS Charlotte office in 2014. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she moved south and she’s been here long enough that she occasionally mixes a Southern accent with her native Midwestern tongue. On any given day, you will find Sandra in a variety of supportive roles ranging from instructor assistance, self-study, event coordination, and customer support. Prior to joining TTS, Sandra worked in the healthcare and insurance industries. She has strong experience with business processes and process improvement.

Kristy Hill: Controller

Professional Experience: Professional Employer Organization – Income Tax Specialist; Cocke, Szpanka & Taylor – Staff Accountant
Education: Old Dominion University – B.S., Accounting

KristyKristy joined TTS in the Charlotte, NC, office in 2010 as controller. Kristy commenced her professional career at Cocke, Szpanka & Taylor CPAs, a public accounting firm in Reston, VA, where she worked as a Staff Accountant from 2006 to 2009. There, she served the firm’s individual, retail, and small business clients. While in that capacity, Kristy gained tremendous accounting knowledge and client service skills. After moving to Charlotte, NC, she began working at a professional employer organization as their Income Tax Specialist.

 Brittney Godwin: Senior Accountant

Professional Experience:  Wells Fargo – Retail Banking; North Carolina Department of State Treasurer – Financial Operations Division
Education:  Elon University – B.S., Accounting


Brittney joined TTS Charlotte in 2012. As TTS’s Senior Accountant, she provides operational and financial information to TTS’s management by reconciling and compiling TTS’s public course, self-study, on campus and instructor travel data. Prior to joining TTS, Brittney was employed by Wells Fargo, a Fortune 100 company, where she expanded her business and accounting expertise through the use of various computing and accounting systems to review and reconcile accounts. While employed by the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, she generated financial statements and monthly investment reports. In additional to working for the government and the banking industry, Brittney has also worked for an academic institution and a non-profit organization.

 Scott Thomson: LMS/TTS Resource Center

Professional Experience: Castle Branch- Business Development
Education:  University of North Carolina at Wilmington- B.S., Entrepreneurship & Business Development


Scott joined the TTS Charlotte office in 2014 as a Marketing/Operations Analyst and has since transitioned into the firm’s Resource Center administrator. As the Resource Center administrator, Scott focuses on various learning management system initiatives in an ongoing effort to improve the online learning platform. Scott also provides technical support for our clients and daily users of the Resource Center. Prior to joining TTS, Scott was a Business Developer at Castle Branch, a top 10 background screening and compliance management solutions company.
