Scott brings over 20 years of investment banking and finance product management experience to the classroom. He began his career in 2001 as a financial analyst at Houlihan Lokey in New York where he focused on financial restructuring and distressed M&A. He later moved to San Francisco where he joined Montgomery & Co. as an Associate in their technology practice, advising early- and late-stage software companies in public and private equity financings and M&A. Since then, Scott has been deeply involved in finance education, both as a corporate finance instructor for the Investment Banking Institute and as Head of Product for Bloomberg LP’s education business, where he led development of various financial education products aimed at university students and professionals.
