A Certified Public Accountant, Ben joined Training the Street in 2022 as a part-time instructor. He continues his work as a professor of accounting in the Economics Department of Davidson College, where he is also Chair. During his more than thirty years in higher education, Ben has taught a full range of courses, including introductory financial accounting, managerial, advanced theory, managerial finance, governmental/not-for-profit accounting, and federal income taxation. Prior to joining academe, he was a Tax Manager with EY in Greenville, SC. Over time, he has sculpted his classes to prepare countless students for careers in the financial services industry, consulting, and public accounting.
