Abdulla has worked as a trainer operating globally for almost thirty years, specializing in financial market products for the investment banking and fund management sectors. He has extensive experience delivering full scale, intensive graduate training programmes for analysts, associates, interns and middle and back-office functions as well as specialized regulatory and product courses. Previous training clients include major international banks and fund managers such as Blackrock, J.P. Morgan and HSBC. He has a passion for teaching and uses his experience to explain complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.

A former member of the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (“LIFFE”), Abdulla has over twenty years experience as a derivatives trader and worked as an independent ‘Local’ trader on the LIFFE trading floor, specialising in equity and index options. He continues to actively trade and manage his own derivatives-based portfolio. His real-world experience allows him to deliver training on almost all aspects of capital markets products including all major derivatives products, Fixed Income, Equities, FX, and Money Markets and Repos.
