James enjoys helping junior talent and lateral hires to develop their technical skills in financial analysis, modelling, corporate finance and valuation. Since 2008, he has delivered courses in accounting, financial modelling, corporate finance and valuation at banks, corporates, private equity and advisory firms globally.

Prior to becoming a financial trainer, James worked for approximated 7 years in investment banking in London, initially with HSBC and subsequently at Merrill Lynch. Throughout this time he was in a front office role, advising companies on valuation, financing, acquisitions and risk management. He began his career working as an auditor at Arthur Anderson and qualified as a chartered accountant.
