Get to know Serge

Serge has been a financial trainer since 2008. He has delivered numerous training courses globally for many leading financial institutions in English and French. Topics covered include corporate finance, valuation (industrials and banks), financial modeling, M&A, LBO, financial accounting, capital markets, bank regulatory capital and financial risks.

He began his career as a credit analyst at Banque Continentale in Luxembourg. He then worked as a senior auditor for Deloitte & Touche in Luxembourg, auditing and preparing financial statement for a variety of banks, insurance, investment funds, venture capital and commercial companies.

He continued his career in investment banking at Citigroup (ex-Salomon Smith Barney) in London and New York where he worked on variety of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyout (LBO) and debt offerings, mainly for financial services clients. Later on, in his career, Serge was a director in the Investment Banking Department of Commercial International Bank (CIB), the largest non-government bank in Egypt and a senior advisor at Rochefort & Associés, an M&A boutique in Paris, France where he focused on leading sell-side technology mandates.

Serge has an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management Chicago and is a holder of the Series 7 and 63 License Exams in the United States. He is an energetic trainer who constantly engages his audience and is fond of simplifying complex financial issues.
