Ryan worked as a healthcare investment banker at Wells Fargo Securities in New York City for ~5 years, where he executed over 90 transactions totaling over $10.0B. He served as Staffer and trained three classes of summer and full-time analysts. Post investment banking, Ryan founded an infrastructure investing start-up, taught finance to over 300 students at UC Berkeley, and worked in high yield credit research at Franklin Templeton. Outside the classroom, Ryan advises companies as a fractional CFO, is an avid value investing, and tells bad finance and academia jokes.
