Utkarsh began his investment banking career in the Healthcare group at A.G. Edwards before moving to BMO Capital Markets, where he worked in the Food & Consumer and Mergers & Acquisitions groups in Chicago, focusing primarily on M&A transactions in the food industry. He later joined the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, further expanding his transactional and advisory experience.

Alongside his industry background, Utkarsh has extensive experience in professional finance training. As he discovered his passion for teaching, he started working with Training The Street in 2012. He likes to keep the training environment fun and light-hearted, helping participants stay engaged throughout the course. Utkarsh enjoys teaching a range of courses including applied Excel, financial modeling, corporate valuation, LBO and M&A modeling.

In 2020, Utkarsh joined Archer Daniels Midland’s (ADM) Corporate Development and M&A team and also spent time within ADM’s Financial Planning & Analysis function, focusing on Health & Wellness. Since 2020, he has also been on faculty at Auburn University, where he teaches financial modeling and valuation to the finance honors student cohort.
