Darren is a passionate educator dedicated to delivering high-impact learning experiences. A strong advocate of active learning, he is constantly exploring new ways to create dynamic, interactive programs that bring topics to life, deepen understanding and improve learner retention. By incorporating gamification, real-world case studies, and simulation-based learning, he drives strong engagement, ensuring participants are desk-ready on Day 1.

Since he started working with Training The Street in 2010, Darren has designed and delivered tailored training programs for leading investment banks, private equity firms, asset managers, management consultancies, Fortune 500 companies, and top universities. He has also served as adjunct faculty at IE Business School in Madrid since 2019. His expertise spans accounting, corporate valuation, financial and business case modeling, M&A and LBO analysis, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint techniques.

Before transitioning to teaching, Darren spent over a decade in investment banking at Bear Stearns, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America, working across the US, Europe, and Latin America. He executed M&A transactions and advised on equity and debt financing across multiple industries. He also developed and delivered internal training programs in the US, Europe, India, and Brazil, including analyst and associate induction programs at Bear Stearns and sector-specific training at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America.
