He then moved into a business analyst role at a large regional healthcare system, where he developed executive dashboards and staffing optimization models using Excel and business intelligence tools.

Since 2014, George has run Stringfest Analytics, a training and consulting practice focused on helping finance, FP&A, and operations teams work more effectively with data. He has delivered applied Excel and data analytics training to professionals at major banks, global technology companies, and financial institutions. He is the author of Advancing into Analytics and Modern Data Analytics in Excel (O’Reilly Media), a LinkedIn Learning instructor with over 400,000 learners worldwide, and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). He teaches annual masterclasses at the Global Excel Summit.
