Srini joined Training The Street in 2021 and has held several roles across Investment Banking, Strategic Finance and Technology. Srini’s professional experience spans across US, Asia and India.

He began his investment banking career in 2010 with Goldman Sachs and was part of the investment banking industrials coverage team at Citigroup based in Hong Kong where he worked on executing M&A deals as well as debt and equity capital market transactions with a total value of over US$10 billion. His areas of focus were power & utilities, renewable energy, metals and mining, transportation, airports and infrastructure. He has also worked in a technology role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He subsequently transitioned into a strategic finance and business development role at the GMR Group (An India Infrastructure major) where he helped originate, lead and execute M&A transactions in the infrastructure, airport, power and sports verticals.

Srini’s training expertise covers topics such as Accounting, Corporate Valuation, Financial Modelling, MS Excel, M&A, Private Equity, LBOs and Global Markets for both sell-side and buy-side clients. Srini is passionate about teaching and focuses on making his sessions interactive by frequently using real-life examples, case studies, contests and game-show-style formats to keep his audience engaged.
