Wall Street Education Leader to Offer Advice to Bloomberg Aptitude Test Participants
New York – Training The Street (TTS) Founder and CEO Scott Rostan will join an expert panel at the Bloomberg Institute’s Summer Intern Challenge today to discuss Wall Street training and hiring. The event marks the close of a two-month testing period for the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT), which is designed for undergraduates and recent graduates who are interested in entry‐level jobs in the business world. Mr. Rostan, also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC, was invited by the Bloomberg Institute to offer his perspective as a business educator and practitioner to aspiring young business students at Bloomberg’s headquarters in New York City. The top BAT scorers globally will be in attendance at the event.
“This is a critical time for business students to develop their skills as Wall Street hiring remains very competitive for entry-level candidates. I look forward to engaging them in a discussion on how to get the most out of an education and to prepare themselves for the challenging job market,” said Mr. Rostan.
Mr. Rostan works with the top MBA programs, financial institutions and law firms to train the next generation of financial professionals in developing the practical skills needed to master a career in finance. TTS offers private, public and self-study courses that cover a range of topics, from how to evaluate a merger to Excel spreadsheet best practices.
Mr. Rostan will be speaking on the BAT panel at the Summer Intern Challenge, located at Bloomberg’s New York City office on 731 Lexington Avenue, at 6:30 PM Eastern on Thursday, August 1. For additional information about TTS, please call 800.887.1320, or visit the website www.trainingthestreet.com.
