Christian joined Training The Street in 2019. He is a CFA charterholder. He grew up in Germany and moved to New York in 2005 for his MBA at Columbia Business School. After his internship at JPMorgan in London in Equity Research, he joined UBS investment banking in New York as an Associate. He then joined the M&A advisory firm The Valence Group which was founded by the former Bear Stearns chemicals team and which developed to the largest M&A team for the chemicals and materials industry, advising on billion dollar M&A transactions. Christian was the staffer for the New York office at Valence, and after eight years left the firm to join BDA Partners as Co-Head of Chemicals, and traveled to clients in Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India. Christian enjoyed financial modeling, developing insightful in-depth analysis of companies, and developing the junior bankers.
